July Things

My husband and I just returned from a trip up north or better known as the corner of where the heck are we? and who cares, because this place is beautiful. Siren , Wi even had a great quilt shop named the Bears Den. Oh did I mention the shop shares its building with a car repair, marina, car sales shop. This seemed quite common up there as down the street we found a Radio Shack and a Ben Franklin sharing the same store. The highlight is that we went out to a primative fur trappers fort where they have actors telling about life of the indians during mainly the early 1800's. We also spent one day watching cranes, ducks, and other wildlife from our car. Thats my favorite way to hike. As far as quilting I made a huge bag out of 6 fat quarters while we were up there. The weather was cold and rainy, but it still nice to get away.Bye

OK ALREADY!!!!!

Dear Peeps I think I may have this finely gotten this blog thing worked out. I have been just quilting, lunches, laughing with my peeps . Yesterday Cindy and Linda took vacation days to come down to sew with me at Franks. Linda brought her daughter Mykayla,she's12 and learning how to quilt and of coarse rip! We had a nice lunch outside at one of the great cafes near Franks. I still am quite amazed that my peeps would take a day of vacation to spend with me. So I 've done this right
