July Things

My husband and I just returned from a trip up north or better known as the corner of where the heck are we? and who cares, because this place is beautiful. Siren , Wi even had a great quilt shop named the Bears Den. Oh did I mention the shop shares its building with a car repair, marina, car sales shop. This seemed quite common up there as down the street we found a Radio Shack and a Ben Franklin sharing the same store. The highlight is that we went out to a primative fur trappers fort where they have actors telling about life of the indians during mainly the early 1800's. We also spent one day watching cranes, ducks, and other wildlife from our car. Thats my favorite way to hike. As far as quilting I made a huge bag out of 6 fat quarters while we were up there. The weather was cold and rainy, but it still nice to get away.Bye
